ON THE ROAD IN AMERICA

Mississippi, nebraska, appalachia, 2004 - 2006

Between 2004 and 2006, I took photographers on road trips in America. We traveled by van. The first week-long photography workshop was to Nebraska, my home state. We started in Lincoln, then traveled to places called Cairo, Broken Bow (my hometown), Halsey, Dunning, Valentine, and Alliance, where we photographed “Carhenge, a replica of England’s “Stonehenge.” We even took a canoe ride down the Niobrara River.

In 2005, we traveled the length of Route 61 in Mississippi, the famous "blues" highway, and in 2006, we traveled through the Appalachian Mountains, stopping in each little town along the way.
