All members are required to shoot on their own or with each other no less than once a week. Each member is also required to work on a special project in addition to shooting on the streets.

CAN JOIN ANYTIME THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

Membership: $300 per six-month season

This is a group of serious street photographers — led by Julia Dean and Daniel Sackheim — who inspire and challenge each other. You can apply by writing Julia Dean at juliadeanLA@gmail.com. If the work is accepted by the Street L.A. group, then an in-person meeting will take place with Julia and Daniel, so that they can fill you in on the group’s mission, reiterate the importance of good ethics, and welcome you aboard!

 A written paragraph confirming that you understand the law and ethics of street photography. You should be able to state that none of your images have been manipulated in any way nor did your presence affect the photograph. 

 Also, tell us why you would like to be a member of Street L.A. and what you hope to accomplish.

The members of the Collective will review your work and Julia or Dan will get back to you.
