ON THE STREETS of NEW YORK, 2016 - 2020

There was a four-year time period when I made several trips a year to New York, which gave me the opportunity to photograph on the streets. Twice, I walked the length of Broadway, from the Battery to the Broadway Bridge, the first time in preparation of a street photography workshop that I taught in 2019. I did this walk the first time over four trips. The workshop was done in five days. Though the direct mileage is only 13 miles, it became a 35 mile trip for my students and me. Several of the pictures here were taken during that workshop.
