Aline Smithson Receives “Rising Star Award”
Instructor Aline Smithson was selected by the Griffin Museum of Photography to receive the Rising Star Award at the Focus Awards presentation on June 6th in Boston. The Rising Star award is given to an emerging force that the photographic community is watching with great enthusiasm.
On June 8th, Aline will be one of the Keynote speakers for the Flash Forward Festival in Boston. In addition, she will be exhibiting a solo show of Arrangement in Green and Black, Photographs of the Photographer’s Mother at the festival.
