Designed for photographers who want to push their own creative boundaries, this hands-on workshop will provide actual solutions to real world barriers photographers experience in pursuing their creative vision and working with their subjects. In three fun-filled days, we’ll break down these barriers and learn practical techniques for creative portraiture that can immediately be applied to connect students with their subject, develop their style as a photographer, increase personal creativity and overcome creative block. David McCullough has taken the techniques he uses in the high-pressure world of advertising photography, where creativity is required “on demand” and waiting for inspiration is often not an option, and applied them to his portraits.

Classes take place in David’s Glendale studio where students will have access to studio strobes, hot lights and available light to create unique portraits. The techniques being taught apply to any area of photography but the class is geared to portraiture. Students will receive assignments to complete between classes Open to all levels of photographers.
