Basic Photography II: Diving Into Digital

Mark Berndt

This six-week course is a perfect next step for digital photographers who have taken a basic photography class. Basics will be reviewed and participants will learn even more about their digital camera. Classroom discussion covers basic and advanced camera settings, determining perfect exposure, all about white balance, shooting in RAW, capturing images indoors and outdoors, and mastering digital workflow. Weekly shooting assignments and critique provide invaluable feedback about participant’s progress and prompt discussions about, and solutions to, real-world photographic issues.

Participants are expected to have completed “Basic Photography I” or have equivalent experience. Proficiency on either a MAC or PC is required. Lectures will be given using an Apple Macintosh computer with Adobe Bridge CS3 and Adobe Camera RAW.
