Sharpening Your Photographic Eye with Sam Abell

© Sam Abell
This workshop is about the refinement of seeing. It is meant to help participants bring clarity to their own personal vision and style, to understand where they are now, and where their work can take them. The weekend will be divided amongst shooting assignments (to sharpen the students’ vision), portfolio reviews, and discussion all with the same message — making pictures that have more clarity. Sam will discuss the thought and technique of seeing in layers, the importance of seeing well, and how to see with more discriminating power. This workshop is devoted to helping each participant take the next step.
