Immerse yourself in one of the most remote places in the world, a place like no other where even the skies are different … and beautiful. Our on-the-road workshop will start upon your arrival into glamorous Buenos Aires where we will be treated for a traditional Argentine BBQ. Next morning our Patagonian adventure begins as we drive to the airport to board our flight to El Calafate, a picturesque and charming village located 50 km away from the National Glacier’s Park, home to Perito Moreno, a natural marvel of the world. The days will lead us through impressive landscapes and once in a lifetime opportunities to experience up close and personal the breaking of a glacier, ice trekking, immense glaciers, icebergs, turquoise waters, forests and steppes.
Moving on, we’ll reach Torres del Paine in Chile, at the heart of the Patagonia region. The national park, Torres del Paine, is one of the most impressive geographical sceneries in the world as shown by the central massif mountain sector which has several peaks measuring up to 1,000 meters vertical slides. In Torres del Paine we will embark in a boat to navigate Gray Lagoon towards Gray Glacier. After Torres del Paine we’ll visit Punta Arenas, arguably the southernmost city in the world, which sits in the northern bank of the straight of Magellan. While in Punta Arenas we will shoot a Magellan Penguin colony.
Highlights:
- Stroll through charming, colorful villages
- Visit beautiful glaciers: Perito Moreno, Upsala, Grey
- Go on an ice mini-Trekking – Perito Moreno
- Hike Mount Ferrier and Ascension Valley
- Visit a colony of Magellanic Penguins and view unique wildlife like the Andean Condors, Austral Parakeets and others.
